There are many Internet Service Providers to choose from.  Many people choose AOL (tm).  The truth is, they are the most expensive by far.  And, from my experience, they are one of the slowest connections I've seen.  Maybe this is because so many people use them.  As far as I know, the second most expensive is MSN (tm).  They provide good service, but charge about double, compared to many other ISP's. 

Then there are the cheapie services.  Many of them have annoying pop-ups.  They disconnect you frequently.  They have lots of busy signals. And they don't have the latest modem technology to give you the fastest dial-up service possible.

That's why I recommend PeoplePC Online.  They have fast, reliable connections at a very fair price ($10.95/Month).  How much are you paying now?  I hope you're not paying an extra $13 per month (That's an extra $156 per year!) because you are afraid to switch.  The only Internet service that you would notice any change in service with is AOL.  They have an unusual look to their software.  I think it's actually harder to use.  Once you get on a web site on the net, everything looks and operates the same.  But the window AOL gives you to view a web page is much smaller.

Every PC comes with Internet Explorer.  AOL's software just modifies the look of the screen and modifies the way Internet Explorer works.  This actually slows it down.

The bottom line is:

If you want to save a large amount of money, while actually speeding up you Internet connection, switch to PeoplePc Online.

One other thing:

I get those AOL disks in the mail very often.  I like that.  I use the cd's for coasters and the boxes for my important cd's.  Mailing those out so often must cost a fortune.  And you're paying for it.
