information about a sites popularity. In order to collect this
information, they need to know how many people visit a particular
site. The toolbar reports this back to Alexa, without sending
any of your secret information. I don't have a problem with

habits back to their site. It does not do any harm to your
system that I'm aware of and the free version comes in very handy,
