I decided to write a bit about Adsense,
because it is the most reliable way I know of to make money on your
website.
I like google. They have figured out many ways to control the
quality of content of their ads, minimize click fraud and yet give
webmasters an excellent opportunity to make money on their site.
How much money you make depends on several factors:
- Number Of Visitors Per Day. I don't think they necessarily
have to be unique visitors. The ads change periodically and
people don't necessarily look at them every time.
- The Subject Matter Of Your Web Page. Clicks Are Not
Equal. Certain Keywords Are Very Expensive On Google.
The content of your page determines what ads show. (See the
ads on the left)
- The Quality Of Visitors. Signing up with a site that sends
you autosurf traffic will not help.
Google is very picky, but I think it is mainly about the content of
your site and your level of honesty.
If you try to scam them with click fraud, they will drop you like a
hot potato. The only way to succeed at this is to send them real
clicks. They determine the ads that will show, simply based on the
content of your site.
When you are trying various ways to make money on the net, some work,
some don't. Some only work for a short time. Google Adsense
has been the one steady part of my income on the net. And it's
been growing steadily.
